Quilts of Valor Trip
Several Chapter members made the trip to Lebanon Veterans Hosptial to deliver Quilts of Valor to the sailors, airmen, soldiers and marines who have returned from the war zones in less than 100% condition. Delivering this lot of 30 quilts to LVAH are John McClun, Pete Eshelman, Terry Heil and John Parker. Accepting the quilts on behalf of the Veterans is Gretchen Roberts. Chapter B has delivered over 170 quilts for the Quilts of Valor organization. Quilts of Valor has made a commitment to try and give every returning disable veteran a quilt. All materials, quilting and delivery are donated to honor the commitment these men and women have made to our country. Hoorah! |
